Secret Solstice selling world’s most expensive ticket

Iceland’s Secret Solstice festival has announced that it is offering the world’s most expensive concert ticket for this summer’s event.

The festival, which takes place at a time of year when Iceland does not have a sunset, is offering one “lucky” fan the chance to snap up a “super-VIP ticket” for the June gig; however, to get your hands on it, it’ll cost a cool US$200,000.

The Secret Solstice press release stated that the ticket would include first class return airfare from anywhere on the world for two people, helicopter transfers to almost anywhere in the country including a private experience at the renowned Blue Lagoon, luxury five-bedroom accommodation in Reykjavik, a 24/7 driver and personal assistants.

If that’s not enough to tempt someone into coughing up the dough, a private 100ft yacht party featuring golf and skeet shooting, lunch inside the magma chamber of a dormant volcano and private chefs every night are also offered. A bargain, surely.

The Secret Solstice will take place from 19-21 June, with the Wailers, Erol Alkan, Green Velvet and Nightmares on Wax among the lineups already announced.
