Iceland’s penis museum the ‘most bizarre place on earth’

Iceland’s weird and wonderful penis museum has been described by Traveller 24 as the most bizarre place on earth.

The Icelandic Phallological Museum features more than 280 penises from a wide variety of the world’s creatures including whales, monkeys and even people. Among the museum’s other interesting sights are sculptures of the male reproductive organ. Hardly a surprise, then, that photos of the “specimens” on view are now flooding the internet as visitors feel the need to share their bizarre experience.

The museum’s website shares many stories about the venue, such as revealing how they got hold of their penises, while there is also a Phallus Gift Store from which you can buy souvenirs online.
