National Geographic Traveller and Discover the World team up with Icelandair for Iceland holiday competition

UK travel magazine National Geographic Traveller and specialist travel provider Discover the World have announced that they are teaming up with Icelandair to offer a special holiday in Iceland for two lucky winners, as part of a new competition.

As part of the prize, a winner and a guest will receive return flights with leading Iceland airline Icelandair from Heathrow, Manchester or Glasgow; airport transfers; nine nights accommodation; and car hire on an unlimited mileage basis.

National Geographic Traveller and Discover the World are offering this impressive prize with the incentive of giving UK travellers the opportunity to discover the real Iceland.

During the holiday, those lucky enough to win will get the opportunity to visit and be inspired by Iceland’s incredible natural landscapes. Travellers can explore the popular Golden Circle tourist route; home to the magnificent waterfall of Gullfoss; the geothermal area of Geysir; and Kerid a water filled volcano crater.

Alternatively, guests can drive further out to various parts of the island, for example, the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon in the east of Iceland, which is filled with icebergs and various forms of wildlife, such as skuas and seals.
