Football competition launched by Keflavik Airport in Iceland

keflavik_world_cup66Iceland’s international airport in Keflavik has recently launched a competition in preparation for the World Cup Football Championships 2010. The football competition focuses on participants predicting the World Cup playoffs with hundreds of prizes to be won including the grand prize, which is a 10 day self drive trip around Iceland.

Participants who predict the correct results are given a certain number of points in relation to the odds on each game, then the participant who achieves the highest total number of points wins the game.

Each day, as the World Cup Championship progresses, prizes will be awarded fans of Keflavik International Airport on Facebook. Prizes include; 66 Degree North Parka, Keflavik International Airport football shirts, Blue Lagoon products, Icelandic National Team football shirts and many other amazing gifts. And, of course grand prize of a 10 day self drive trip around Iceland.
