Webcam to show live broadcast of New Year’s Eve 2013 celebrations in Iceland

FlugeldarA live webcam feed of the New Year’s Eve 2013/14 celebrations in Iceland will be taking place tonight, giving audiences the opportunity to discover how the country’s locals see in the New Year.

At the stroke of midnight, Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, night turns to day at the when hundreds of fireworks illuminate the city’s skyline. Viewers will get to experience the exploding rockets and dancing lights sparkle and shimmer as it happens. A taster of what to expect can be seen here.
