Icelandair to resume flights from Denver to Iceland

Icelandair, Iceland’s flagship airline, is set to resume its flight service from Denver International Airport in the U.S. to Iceland on May 11, 2012.

The mark the occasion, from May 7th, Icelandair representatives will be combing the streets of Denver, giving away one free trip every day.

The general public can get involved by liking Icelandair on Twitter and Facebook in order to receive clues as to where that day’s ticket and password can be found. The first person to arrive at the location and reveal the password will win a trip to Iceland or one of over 20 Icelandair destinations in Europe.

Icelandair will also be handing out additional prizes, including gift certificates to travel on Icelandair, t-shirts, and other Icelandair merchandise.

In addition, the airline will be giving out additional prizes and awards to those who help spread the word by sharing on Facebook and re-tweeting with the hashtag, #DENGiveaway.
