The director of Lagastoð, Skúli Sigurz, who was stabbed at his office two weeks ago, is now breathing by himself; although he is still being held unconscious.
Skúli was attacked by an indebted customer two weeks ago and has been in intensive care ever since, fighting for his life.
The attacker, called Guðgeir Guðmundsson, is in police custody and is undergoing psychiatric evaluation. He has admitted to the attack, Vísir.is reports.
During the attack former Premiership footballer Guðni Bergsson was also injured in the thigh while trying to help his colleague. Guðni is now working as a lawyer, following his retirement from professional sport.
