Iceland tour operator continues Snæfellsnes Peninsula tours throughout winter

Reykjavik Excursions, Iceland’s leading tour operator, will be continuing most of its tours throughout the winter, including the popular Snaefellsnes Peninsula day trip.

The “Wonders of Snaefellsnes” tour visits the Snaefellsjokull glacier and explores the lush valleys, lava fields, and craters that characterise the western peninsula of Iceland. The tour also takes passengers to a number of beautiful fishing villages including Stykkisholmur, as well as making stops at Djupalonssandur and Arnarstapi before returning to Reykjavik.

In addition, another popular Reykjavik Excursions tour, “South Shore Adventure”, which gained four out of five stars on TripAdvisor, will also be continuing throughout the winter months.

The South Shore Adventure provides nature lovers with the opportunity to experience the formations of the waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skogarfoss, as well as travel along the South coast of Iceland as far as Vik, a small and charming village surrounded by beautiful high bird cliffs.

All of the company’s tours are guided by professional guides in English, and many are also guided in German, French and Scandinavian. The company operates one of the biggest bus fleets in Iceland making the company one of the largest organisers of tours both for individuals and groups in Iceland.
