A man was caught and arrested for drug driving two times in one evening in Iceland this weekend.
A police statement said the man is in his 20s. He was stopped in the Reykjavik region town of Kopavogur on Saturday evening and appeared to be high on drugs.
He was taken to the police station and released several hours later. He had had his driving licence revoked.
But, DV reports, the same man was stopped and arrested again in the early hours of Sunday — once again high on drugs. It appeared the man got into another car in Kopavogur and decided to continue as if nothing had happened. When the police stopped him again he tried to escape on foot. He was easily chased down and arrested again — this time with drugs in his possession.
