Family of murdered Icelandic chocolate company boss appeals for help

The family of the Icelandic businessman Hannes Thor Helgason, who was found murdered in his Hafnarfjordur home lunchtime on Sunday, are requesting the public’s help in finding his killer.

Hannes Thor Helgason was the CEO of Goa, one of Iceland’s largest chocolate and confectionery companies and the motive for his murder is not yet clear. His bereaved family are calling on anybody with any information to contact the police immediately.

A statement from the family, released through the police and directly to the media, thanks all those who have offered help and support so far, reports.
