Icelandic president sends condolences to Russian counterpart

Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, President of Iceland, yesterday sent his Russian counterpart, Dimitry Medvedev a message of support and condolence for the damage being wrought on Russia by forest fires. At least 52 rescue workers and civilians have died in the fires, reports.
