Icesave negotiations back on: off to good start

The Icelandic finance minister says that meetings with the British and Dutch Icesave negotiating committees have started again and are going well. He said that the teams took off where they left off and everyone is still searching for the best mutual outcome.

The formal negotiations began again last week and the Icelandic delegation is headed by US lawyer Lee Buchheit. Finance Minister Steingrimur J. Sigfusson told Visir that it is not known how many meetings will take place before the parliamentary summer holiday in the three countries, but that they will certainly continue afterwards.
