Relief as flights return to Keflavik

icelandair-little2Icelandair has decided to move its hub from Glasgow back to Keflavik International Airport from midday and will also stop routing its Icelandic flights through Akureyri at that time. At least three flights from Glasgow are expected to land at Keflavik this afternoon.

Iceland Express also intends to start flying from Keflavik again today as the risk from the volcanic ash cloud continues to decrease slowly.

Both companies urge passengers to regularly check flight status on their websites www.icelandair.com and www.icelandexpress.com
