Ossur Skarphedinsson, Minister of Foreign Affairs in Iceland, handed over the membership application for the Republic of Iceland to join the European Union today at a meeting at 10:45am Swedish time. They had a formal party and small celebration in Sweden this morning during the handing over and submission of the EU application.
This year Sweden holds the European Union chair for the next 6 months and will process Iceland’s membership application as a high priority.

AFAIK the EU is resisting american attempts to force us to import genetically modified foodstuffs (like soja).
I doubt the dutch can handle this plan, as they don´t seem to be able to handle fish in a normal way.

The Dutch plan for invading Iceland seems better thought-out than the American plan was for invading Iraq. With this new evidence, the Dutch PM will no longer be able to claim they have no plans to invade Iceland.

i was talking to a friend of mine who runs a hospital emergency ward, she told me that at this time of year they are swamped with foreigners with broken legs or ankles because they don’t know how to walk on uneven surface, if they leave the walking paths they fall and brake something,
i wonder if tis has to do with drinking recycled pee time after time,

lots of foreigners also come in because of traffic accidents, simply because they cant drive, and will not listen or learn,
many accidents happen when they drive off tarmac and on to a gravel road, if you do that at high speed and don’t take your foot off the gas your f****d, this happens far too often.
so when the Dutch land, take a bus and stay on the pavement.
