Last night in the quiet town of Borgarnes, located about 70km north of Reykjavik, a young man stole a car and an attached trailer. The trailer was found at a place called Snorrastadur not far from Borgarnes. The car was found also near the trailer and was poorly driven. The driver was apprehended and was found under the influence of drugs.The owner of the car just arrived back from a trip and had most of his goods stored in the trailer that was stolen and damaged. The car also suffered a broken windshield as well as other damages to the car.
The thief was sent to a police station in Reykjavik and will expect to be interrogated today by the police.

May god keep the theives away from Borgarnes. I am a resident of this small town.I always have felt safe. After this Incedent we just have to lock well our things.
