Iceland Express, the low cost airline providing cheap flights to and from Reykjavik, has released its summer timetable for 2009. The new schedule sees the airline increase its destination list to include 19 major European cities.
Iceland Express passengers are already able to book cheap flights to Iceland from new destinations such as Cyprus, Geneva and Krakow on the airline’s website.
The Iceland Express summer schedule will run from 1 June to 31 August 2009 and will include 19 cities. The airline’s popular Copenhagen route will have 12 flights per week from Reykjavik Keflavik as well as two from the northern Icelandic town of Akureyri.
Flights to and from London by Iceland Express will be shifted to the more convenient London Gatwick beginning in spring 2009. Altogether there will be ten flights per week to London.
The destinations served by Iceland Express scheduled flights in summer 2009 will be: Aalborg, Alicante, Barcelona, Basel, Berlin, Billund, Bologna, Copenhagen, Cyprus, Eindhoven, Frankfurt Hahn, Friedrichshafen, Gothenburg, Geneva, Krakow, London, Paris, Stockholm and Warsaw.
