Sterling’s Scandinavian summer sale

sterlingFlying to Scandinavia from London Gatwick is getting cheaper still, as competition on the low-cost routes intensifies. Sterling.dk has now begun advertising special prices on airfares in answer to the competition.

Copenhagen-based Sterling Airline is offering one way flights from Gatwick to Denmark, Sweden and Norway starting at just GBP 11.

The airline is offering discounts on tickets to a number of holiday destinations, however the number of discounted seats available on each trip is limited so interested travellers are being urged to book quickly. Seats on the most popular routes are expected to sell especially fast.

Less dramatic are the prices being offered from Scandinavia for Sterling’s summer sale, but the savings are still significant. Among the routes offered on sale are Copenhagen to Rome, with tickets starting at GBP 85. One way flights from Copenhagen to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria start at GBP 68.

Spokesperson for the airline, Carole Arnaud-Battandier, said: “With this fantastic one-week campaign you will be able to experience breathtaking Viking emotions in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.”

She continued: “Fly with Sterling and discover enjoyable cities surrounded by fascinating waterfronts, cultural events, historical settings, and trendy, peaceful and cosmopolitan atmospheres. It is now easier than ever to enjoy the realms of Scandinavia.”

Sterling Airlines is an Icelandic owned budget airline based in Denmark. Created in 2005, the airline flies to a total of 39 destinations, of which Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm are the airline’s principal hubs.
