Joining the club: Kuoni scores another hole in one

putting golf firstThe Kuoni Group has acquired the Scandinavian-based golfing specialist Golf Plaisir Resebyra AB. According to trading-house.com, the tour operator will change hands on 1st July. Documents related to the agreement were signed last week transferring ownership of the largest independent provider of golf travel services in Scandinavia.

Swedish-based Golf Plaisir Resebyra AB is the largest provider of golf holidays in the Scandinavian travel market. The company specialises in group travel for golf lovers in the Mediterranean as well as tailored golfing holidays to destinations around the world. The price of the sale has not yet been disclosed.

Golf Plaisir Resebyra AB is currently headquartered in Stockholm. In addition to providing golf travel holidays, the company also sells golf travel products both online and through their branches.

Many details of the agreement have not been released, however Kuoni has announced that it will be retaining the “Golf Plaisir” and “Out of Bounds” brands sold by Golf Plaisir Resebyra AB in the Scandinavian market. Current staff members will also be employed by the new owners.
