Glitnir forms ‘White Sox’ Seafood Rock Band

GlitnirGlitnir, the Nordic financial group, has joined forces with a number of well-known global rock musicians to form the ‘Glitnir Seafood Rock Band’.
The band is scheduled to play at the next Glitnir ‘Ocean of Opportunities’ conference and think-tank which is taking place in Shanghai on the 4th and 5th of November and will include band members from Queen and YES, plus the multi-talented CEO of American Seafoods, Mr Bernt Bodal.

Leading the Seafood Rock Band is Mr. Bernt Bodal on bass guitar together with pop / rock singer Jonsi – one of Iceland’s most popular and successful singers. The group will be supported by musicians from The Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp.

Spike Edney, the musical director and keyboard player from Queen, will be performing alongside rock guitarist Jamie Moses who has played with Bob Geldof, Paul Young and in Queen. Drummer Alan White of YES, George Harrison and John Lennon fame will also be performing.

The Seafood Rock Band will be playing at Glitnir’s opening gala dinner on Sunday the 4th of November and guests are scheduled to be taken to the secret venue from the luxury Pudong Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai at 1900.
The main Ocean of Opportunities seafood conference will take place on Monday 5th November where a line-up of eminent speakers will talk on a wide range of issues devoted solely to the global seafood industry. Glitnir will also deliver a special press briefing on its plans to publicise three international seafood reports in the upcoming week which will focus on Canada, Latin America and China.
