With Eurovision 2013 done and dusted, the annual talent fest will now move across the Øresund after Denmark triumphed in Malmo. Speculation is already underway as to which city will be the next host.

Denmark wins Eurovision Song Contest 2013

The Eurovision Song Contest 2013 which took place in Malmö, Sweden on Saturday night saw the victory of Denmark with the song “Only Teardrops” sung by twenty year old Emmelie de Forest.

The Simpsons Season Finale to feature Sigur Rós and Iceland

Icelandic band Sigur Rós will feature in The Simpsons Season Finale this weekend. The episode, which will see some of its main characters visit Iceland, will feature an entirely original score composed by the band – a first for the famous American adult sitcom now concluding its 24th season.

Denmark’s ‘bookies favourite’ goes to Eurovision Final

Hot favourite to win this year’s Eurovision Contest, Emmelie de Forest, has made it to Saturday’s final with her song Only Teardrops, following Tuesday’s semi-final that eliminated the first six of the 33 contestants.

Spotify hits Iceland today

Music streaming service Spotify expands today into seven new markets, among which Iceland, as well as all three Baltic states. Spotify is now available in 31 countries, with Iceland being the last Nordic country to get the online streaming service.

Jethro Tull announce dates in Iceland
