New Iceland undersea data cable will be the fastest to date

Asda interested in buying Iceland

British media are reporting that the UK’s second-biggest supermarket chain, Asda is interested in buying the nearly 70 percent stake in Iceland Foods owned by the bankrupt estate of Old Landsbanki from Iceland, the country.

Iceland continues to inspire with successful tourism campaign

Following the Eyjafjallajokull volcanic eruption in April 2010, the visitor numbers to Iceland dropped significantly. Due to this, a tourism campaign entitled Inspired by Iceland was launched, aiming to boost the positive image of the country thereby encouraging people to visit again.

Icelandic advertising agency praised by international industry publication

The Icelandic advertising agency Hvita Husid (The White House) has been reviewed in Advertising Age – the industry’s most respected magazine. This is the first time that an Icelandic ad agency’s campaign has been praised by the publication.
