One in 10 Finnish men now unemployed

The increasing rate of unemployment in Finland has been especially hard on the country’s men, one in 10 of who are out of work. Finland’s unemployment rate has now reached the nine per cent mark, but the rate among men is closer to 10 per cent.

Finland Davis cup defeat ends on sour note

The Finnish tennis team left fans a game short during their match with Ireland last Sunday, after abandoning the court with the score 3-1. Finland refused to play the final ‘dead rubber’ once the outcome had been decided, with the home side winning a third.
