Icelandair flights have been re-routed through Glasgow to and from Akureyri airport allowing passengers to still travel to and from Iceland despite the closure of Keflavik International Airport. Located in the north of Iceland, Akureyri is just a 4 hour drive from the capital city Reykjavik.
