Jonsi of Sigur Ros announces live solo tour in Europe and North America

In celebration of his debut solo album “go”, Jonsi of the Icelandic band Sigur Ros will begin his 2010 live tour on April 6th in Vancouver, Canada. Jonsi has teamed up with a British stage production company called 59 productions to create a unique live show for his 2010 “go” tour. A charity concert will take place this evening at Reykjavik’s Nasa nightclub with performances from many of Iceland’s biggest music stars, both new and old. Reykjavik City Council has also pledged money to support Haiti. News of today's massive aftershock, measuring 6.1 on the Richter Scale, has only heightened the need for such fundraising.
