Iceland lost to Scotland in a even match where Scotland got to 0 - 2 and Iceland scored from a penalty 1- 2 and got few good chances to even the score in the last minutes of the game. Iceland has never qualified for a major international tournament in their football history and it seams that it will not be the case for this world cup either.

Scotland held on for a needed win to continue their 100% record against Iceland.
