90 percent of foreign tourists in Reykjavik this summer had a good or a great time in the city, MBL.is reports. The information comes from tourist officials who interviewed 2,000 foreign tourists at Keflavik International airport on their way home from Iceland.
Such surveys have been carried out since 2004, but never with such a high rate of satisfaction as this year.

Yes, it’s happened again: 24 of tonight’s 53 acts are marked as “must see” in my schedule. Like my younger attempts to break the sound barrier on a bicycle, it just ain’t gonna happen.

Here is a short update on the first day of Iceland Airwaves…only a few hours to go!

Among all the doom these days coming from Iceland (and pretty much everywhere else too), some people had forgotten Iceland Airwaves.
Now in its tenth year, Iceland Airwaves is the biggest little festival in the world and has attracted the best international acts since the beginning. The festival is also famed for nurturing and even launching the careers of Iceland’s best acts as well. Read the full story
