Icelandic geomorphologist Magnus Tumi Gudmundsson has flown over the erupting Grimsvotn volcano today and says it seems to be becoming less intense. The ash fall on local farms and the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur has yet to let up, however. Read the full story
