Siminn, the Icelandic telecommunications company provides communications services to around 70 cruise ships all over the world – deals which have netted the company some 90,000 extra customers and around ISK 1 billion in extra takings, Frettabladid reports. “You could say this is an offshoot of our successful work with Icelandic fishing ships,” said Saevar Freyr Thrainsson, Siminn CEO.
