Strong recovery in Icelandic housing market


Many more properties were sold in the Reykjavik region last month than in April last year. According to new figures from Statistics Iceland, the number of residential property sales in the capital region rose by 86 percent year-on-year and the value of property sales in the month also shot up by 86 percent from a year before.

Morgunbladid HQ up for rent


mogginnThe headquarters of Icelandic newspaper Morgunbladid are too big and have been advertised for rent in part or in whole.

The building on the outskirts of Reykjavik houses editorial staff, production staff, the advertising department and the offices of Morgunbladid and is 4,000 square metres in size, RUV reports.
