Inspired brings Multi-Win Roulette to Dutch Casinos

Inspired Gaming Group share priceInspired Gaming International part of Inspired Gaming Group, is introducing Multi-Win Roulette (MWR) to Dutch casinos through a deal it has signed today with Holland Casino, the sole permit holder for operating casino games in The Netherlands. Inspired will be trialling MWR on 16 terminals in two out of Holland Casino’s 14 venues over a 13 week period with a view to establishing Inspired’s automated roulette as a recommended product available across the entire Holland Casino estate.

Holland Casino is the only legal, licensed casino operator in the Netherlands and was awarded the license by the Dutch government in 1975. The MWR trial will be taking place at its venues in Venlo, which is close to the border with Germany, and the popular tourist resort of Scheveningen, which is close to The Hague.

MWR offers the customer up to four live roulette or automated wheels – or a mixture of both – on which to play simultaneously. This flexibility allows the casino operator to grow with the customer’s needs, rather than sticking to a one machine, one game solution. Inspired will also be looking to introduce other games onto the multi-content terminals which will allow Holland Casino in the future to offer its customers other alternatives besides the current traditional casino product roulette.

Norman Crowley, co-CEO of Inspired Gaming Group, commented: “The Dutch casino market is strategically important for us with regards to the rest of Europe. This MWR trial with Holland Casino will be viewed as the benchmark for the European casino industry and therefore has the potential to open up several more doors for our growing international business.”

Amber Ho-A-Sjoe, Vice President Product Management at Holland Casino, added: “We’re excited about the potential for MWR in our casinos. It provides our customers with more choice and also allows us to extend our product offering to better meet our customers’ demands.”

Underlining its position as the leading player in the Open Server-Based Gaming (Open SBGTM) market, Inspired Gaming Group plc (Inspired) today signed a four year contract with William Hill to supply the country’s largest bookmaker with 6,301 Category B Gaming Machines across its network of betting shops. The contract will see the terminals being deployed in 1,677 branches of William Hill, representing circa 75 percent of the bookmaker’s Gaming Machine portfolio.

The new supply deal follows the 2005 Gambling Act legislation which came into force in September 2007, and allows bookmakers to now house up to a total of four Category B2 or Category B3 gaming machines in every betting shop. The dual screen ’Rainmaker’ terminal will feature the new B2 Blackjack and Poker games introduced on 1st September, and the latest B3 content from an array of the industry’s leading games developers. In addition, all of the terminals are centrally managed over a broadband network, ensuring that the latest and best content is constantly uploaded on to each.

“The four year contract with William Hill represents a very significant deal for Inspired, and one which further cements a very strong and long standing working relationship between the two firms,” commented Jim O’Halleran, Chairman of Inspired Gaming UK.

“The deal is testament to the hard work and development that has gone into Inspired’s B2 and B3 offering via its Rainmaker terminal. We are delighted to have worked successfully with William Hill over the last three years and to have together driven double digit income growth each year. Rainmaker, with its server based gaming functionality, has been responsible for offering William Hill customers a fully enhanced and cutting edge gaming experience.”

Ian Chuter, Group Director, Gaming of William Hill stated, “The decision to award Inspired with the deal for the large majority of William Hill’s Gaming Machine provision was based on its record of supplying top quality products to us in the past, as well the outstanding performance of their Rainmaker terminals .”

Inspired Gaming Group today announced a deal to supply Ladbrokes with Category B content across 1,500 of the bookmaker’s existing ‘Lara’ Gaming Machines terminals via its Open Server-Based Gaming (Open SBGTM) platform.

The deal reinforces Inspired’s position as the leading player in the Open SBGTM market, and follows September 2007’s revised Gambling Act legislation which now allows bookmakers to house up to a total of four Category B gaming machines in every betting shop. The terminals will go live during February.

Inspired will be providing Ladbrokes with Category B content from some of the industry’s leading games developers, and the terminals will benefit from being centrally managed over a broadband network to ensure that the machines are working and the latest and best content is constantly uploaded on to each.

“We are delighted to have signed this deal to supply and work closely with one of the UK’s leading bookmakers,” commented Luke Alvarez, co-CEO of Inspired. “Incorporating our state of the art operating platform into Ladbrokes’ hardware will ensure an unrivalled player experience for Ladbrokes’ customers, and will lend an extra element to their current FOBT offering. We anticipate much success working together.”

Richard Ames, Managing Director, Retail, of Ladbrokes stated: “Inspired’s position and expertise as the Open SBGTM market leader, coupled with the consistently excellent performance of its technology, made the decision to award this contract a straightforward one. We look forward to working closely with Inspired across the Ladbrokes’ Gaming Machine estate.”

Inspired Gaming Group Share PriceVisit the Inspired Gaming Group website for the current Inspired Gaming share price.

Inspired Gaming Group plc (Inspired) has reviewed its commitment to the Responsibility in Gambling Trust (RIGT) and has decided to increase its contribution in 2008 to £50,000. This 127% increase in funding is against a backdrop of the implementation of the new Gambling Act in September 2007, the publication of the Prevalence Study and the Gambling Commission review on a statutory levy.

Inspired is calling on all organisations that make profit from gambling, including banks, investment houses, advisors and similar, as well as recognised gambling companies, to take on board the financial responsibility for ensuring that adequate funds are available to help problem gamblers.

Commenting, Jim O’Halleran, Chairman of Inspired Gaming (UK) Ltd said: “The issue of Social Responsibility is of paramount importance to the gambling industry. It should be of concern to the industry that 70% of RIGT funding is collected from just 10 companies.

“It is essential that all organisations that profit from gambling contribute towards the provision of services that will help existing problem gamblers and assist in minimising further problems. I hope that all of our colleagues in the industry including suppliers, financiers or advisors to it, will also review their contributions to RIGT”.

Malcolm Bruce, Director, RIGT also said: “We are delighted with the response of Inspired Gaming Group and hope that the leadership it is demonstrating will be emulated by others in the industry.”

Building on earlier announcements this year, Inspired Gaming Group plc (Inspired), the leading provider of Open Server-Based Gaming (Open SBGTM), is continuing to transform the landscape of the Asian casino market through the supply of its technology. Inspired has secured a new $1 million deal for the deployment of its Open SBGTM software platform in Asia and is also investing a further $5.5 million in Open SBGTM terminals and other casino gaming terminals into the region.

Inspired has sold an additional 250 server-based gaming licenses and related multi-content terminals, which will lead to a significant deployment of Open SBGTM technology over the next 12 months. The investment and installation of multi-content terminals will also bring long term revenues for the company.

Inspired first expanded into Asia in April of this year with the sale of 50 server-based gaming licenses and related multi-content terminals to SHL. Their success led to additional orders for over 250 multi-content terminals in the following two months. This third order brings the number of Inspired terminals sold to Asia on the Open SBGTM platform to over 500.

Anne de Kerckhove, Managing Director, Inspired Gaming International, commented: “This announcement is further testament to the appeal and demand for our Open SBGTM platform. Inspired is leading the way in the transformation of the Asian casino market through the supply of our technology and this is a significant step in our strategy for international expansion.”

Tim Shepherd, Managing Director SHL, added: “We were very impressed with the performance of the multi-content terminals and Open SBGTM platform and this new agreement will allow us to run fully digital floors in a number of casinos, enabling us to monitor and fix machines remotely, update content at our discretion and change stakes and prizes to produce the best revenues.”

Norman Crowley, co-CEO Inspired Gaming Group, concluded: “Our experience around the world, coupled with the announcement of this strategically important investment, means Inspired is fast becoming a significant player in the Asian casino market.”

Inspired go green

Inspired Gaming Share PriceVisit the Inspired Gaming Group website for the current Inspired Gaming share price.

Inspired Gaming Group plc (Inspired), the leading player in the Open Server-Based Gaming (Open SBGTM) market, today announces plans that will see a large scale overhaul of its vehicle fleet in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. The firm is looking to reduce carbon emissions by between 150-300 tonnes over the next 18 months through a series of initiatives including the introduction of BioPower cars, alternative transport methods, and a staff incentive scheme.

Part of Inspired’s plan to drastically reducing their carbon footprint is a consultation with the Energy Saving Trust (EST). Following recent discussions, EST is now in the process of putting forward recommendations to Inspired on where changes and improvements can be implemented.

Inspired is looking to further review its choice of vehicles on the company fleet. The firm will this week take delivery of two Saab 93 BioPower cars, as well as asking a number of potential suppliers to make their recommendations for suitable vehicles powered by alternative fuels or hybrids. In addition, trials of a number of options, including motorbikes in London and electric-powered cars, are currently being undertaken.

Meanwhile, Inspired has just agreed a staff incentive scheme that allows employees to trade down to vehicles with lower emissions or to drive vehicles powered by alternative fuels or hybrids. This scheme provides the staff at Inspired a cash incentive to take a green car, and also provides an opportunity for the management to contribute some of those savings to charity.

Dave Wilson, CEO Managed Services, Inspired commented: “As part of Inspired’s commitment to reducing emissions in whatever way possible, we are delighted to collaborate with the EST, and take its advice on how we can make our fleet even greener. I look forward to seeing these environmentally beneficial changes implemented in the near future.”
