A proposed health care centre aims to push Iceland as the prime medical tourism destination for cosmetic surgery in 2010.

A hospital set to offer specialised medical treatments, at the Asbru Enterprise Park in Iceland, is expected to see extensive renovations in the second quarter of 2010.
The ex-military hospital, located next Keflavik International Airport, will contain three operating theatres and around 35 hospital beds, all together having the potential to treat up to 4,000 patients per year.
