Atlantic Studios has opened a film studio at the Asbru Enterprise Park next to Keflavik International Airport in Iceland. According to Atlantic Studios, the film studio is large enough to handle the shooting of large complex films such as James Bond movies.
The Studio is located in a former aircraft hanger which was used by the american military when they had a navy base in Keflavik during the cold war. Read the full story

The Iceland Book Drive Project is to establish a Library of Science and Technology in Iceland.

The Asbru Innovation Centre – the knowledge and entrepreneurial community being formed at the old NATO airbase next to Iceland’s Keflavik International Airport – will host a new international health services centre. Verne Global is in the process of building a new green data centre at the site of the old NATO Base in Iceland. The former military base has since been renamed the Asbru Community of Education and Entrepreneurs. The American Air Force quit the Reykjanes base late in 2006, and it has since been regenerated into a student campus and technology park. Read the full story

The Asbru community of education and entrepreneurs on the former NATO military base in southwest Iceland is home to the Keilir Atlantic Center of Excellence.
