A 22 year-old man has admitted to yesterday’s multiple murders in northwest Greenland.
The 22 year-old admitted to police that he had deliberately killed three people and tried to kill a further four on Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning in the village of Nutaarmiut in northwest Greenland. RÚV reports that the motive for the crime is not yet known.
Current information suggests that the man went mad and started hitting people in the head with a hammer.
He murdered two women, aged 75 and 31, and also an eight year-old girl. The victims appear to have all come from the same family. Two men were severely injured in the attack and a woman and her young child were lucky to escape with flesh wounds.
The Greenlandic government called a day of mourning yesterday, with two minutes’ silence at 12.00 and flags flown at half mast.

I got to say that what happened was really miserable. I pity the person – the murderer. What good does it bring him them?. There is more to life that he should be happy off and there are lots of ways enjoy life too. Thanks for this information
