Iceland – Greenland flights set to continue over winter

Iceland’s biggest domestic carrier, Air Iceland, is set to increase its Greenland service by offering flights to three Greenlandic towns all year round, RUV reports.

Trade between Iceland and Greenland has been increasing fast and Air Iceland feels confident that year-round services to Nuuk, Kulusuk and Constable Point will prove viable. Until now, Air Iceland has run services, primarily for tourists, to five Greenlandic destinations in summertime only.

There has been great demand for flights in winter, as there is a rapidly increasing flow of Icelandic developers and engineers to Greenland and Greenlandic medical patients to Iceland.

Aside from Iceland, Greenland’s only international flight connection is to Copenhagen. Iceland is therefore proving a popular stopover hub for Greenlanders travelling further afield – especially to North America, as a stop in Copenhagen is a long way off route.

Air Iceland is mostly known for its domestic flights within Iceland, but it also flies to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

25,000 passengers used Air Iceland’s Greenland services last year and company CEO Arni Gunnarsson expects that number to rise with the addition of winter flights. He said that there are many new opportunities in Greenland; not only the presence of Icelandic construction and engineering companies in Greenland and Greenlandic medical trips to Iceland. He also said that Greenland is purchasing more and more of its essential imports from Iceland; goods like fruit, vegetables, milk and dairy products, spare parts, flowers and many other time sensitive goods which need to be transported by air.

I am really glad to see Iceland and Greenland engage in mutually beneficial trade. Iceland needs it because of the losses it suffered at the bloody hands of the U.K. banksters and their derivatives scams. Greenland needs to quickly establish trade ties with other Nordic nations so it does not become vulnerable to U.S. and U.K. predatory banksters and corporations. I would even be wary of Canada because of its proximity to the Vampire Octopus.

Nope. Icelanders privatised their banks, Icelandic businessmen raided them from within and Icelandic politicians covered for them. No UK “banksters” involved.

Ahhh… THAT may explain the presence of the Black Pirate Ship of Microsoft’s co-founder, Paul Allen, in Reykjavik Harbor! He’s come to discuss distribution of spoils with the criminal traitors in Iceland. A powerful NWO lieutenant like Allen doesn’t get sent like that unless something BIG is about to be done to Iceland!

I’d like to say that the people of Iceland should have risen up in armed insurrection against those fat cats and politicians but, my own country is castrated as well. By the standards of our own national anthem, every lamp post and traffic pole on Wall Street and K-Street should be holding up the swinging body of a bankster or lobbyist. The fourth and fifth stanzas of the Star Spangled Banner demand fiery retribution against tyranny, especially *DOMESTIC* tyranny.

O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

When our land is illumined with liberty’s smile,
If a foe from within strikes a blow at her glory,
Down, down with the traitor that tries to defile
The flag of the stars, and the page of her story!
    By the millions unchained,
    Who their birthright have gained
    We will keep her bright blazon forever unstained;
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave,
While the land of the free is the home of the brave.

But, Americans are castrated and we now answer criminal malfeasance with blogs, talk shows, impotence, and fear. So, why should I expect Iceland’s people to do any better?
