Please sell your toxic bank bonds to the chinese and pay me back my euros. Icelandic banks printed bonds on paper and the investors paid with real currency. Guess who lost out? the investor as always.
Many banks in Europe sold these toxic bonds, including the Portugese bank BCP Millenium. These banks “guaranteed” these toxic bonds, now the creditors (new name for investors who lost money) are waiting to get some money back maybe in many years to come. How many agencies rated these bonds highly? please stand up? No you will not hear from them unless you have millions of investor curreny to throw away.

None apparently. Icelandic banks didn’t use rating agencies for the most part. If your bank guaranteed these bonds, as you claim, why not claim on the guarantee?
