Parliamentary Investigative Committee report released today

glitlandsthing1The Parliamentary Investigative Committee, set up to investigate the Icelandic banking collapse, will release its report today.

Members of the committee will introduce the basic conclusions of their findings at Iðnó, a restaurant and theatre in downtown Reykjavik, at 10:30am today. The press conference will be broadcast live on visir.is and the report will also be available for viewing on parliament’s website shortly after.

    The main responsible person, david oddson, escaped last weekend. Just in time before the report is released and it was wellknown. Even if he is not under prosecution yet, as THE representants of the financial Icelandic system no one from this clan of financial manager should be allowed to leave the country before EVERYTHING is clarified!

    The Post-Mortem document on the 3 banks reveals an incurable rotten core. Basically the sub-prime financial crisis in 2008 just speeded up their inevitable demise.
