It seems there is so much politics for the goodwill of the political parties. How about more goodwill for the people to help resolve the Icesave and or find alternative ways to alleviate the unemployement and economic situation. Good transparent performance will surely speak for itself and trust and confidence can be regained. All will be satisfied and happy.

If they had any honor this coalition would already have resigned by now.

Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir and her advisors are litterally out of they minds if they think they can survive politically after the last year of things they have done — and not done.

I am actually beginning to feel sorry for Steingrímur J. because he did make hjis Faustian bargain for power and now he is one who will get it in the neck.

If had any sense he is already talking in coalition of Indepencence Party.

Progressive party easily can agree for coalition with Social Democrats. Neither of the party has shown any thing than opportunityism in recent times.

It will always be a freak show, better to hire a government out of Luxembourg or perhaps Canada. Must be a few spare ones for rent somewhere. I do hope someone in their wisdom is giving young Icelanders big grants to go and study political science abroad because until there is new generation there is no hope for a government that is not a total basket case.
