Visir.is reports that Sky News’s earlier assertion that he has already passed medical exams and is now signing for the club was premature.

When team physicians give the Icelandic football star a clean bill of health, he is expected to sign for Spurs this evening or tomorrow. It has already been confirmed that he intends to play for Tottenham in preference to West Ham United.
