Jorge, you do not understand it. The ISK should be appreciated (Lower inflation, lower rates), the taxes will go up (on paper higher income for 2010), so during 2010, when the picture looks good, Iceland can join the EU on paper. After that it can collapse again, who cares. The perfect future for Johanna. Sold against the lowest offer.

Fine!

If Króna remained stable and inflation continues to fall as forecast - YoY -, ICB could cut policy rate to 9 percent, January 2010 (9,5%-9,0%)

"The MPC’s view is that the risk of second-round effects on inflation is limited and that inflation is driven primarily by exchange rate movements; thus the pace of disinflation will depend mostly on near-term exchange rate movements."

Oh! MPC discovers something. Congratulations!

"If the króna remains stable or appreciates, and if inflation continues to fall as forecast, there should be scope for continued gradual monetary easing."

ICB, same trick again? Icelandic currency must not artificially to be appreciated!

Króna must remain stable; if you appreciate the Króna NOW, when capital controls are lifted, risk of second-round effects on inflation will be present! And, again, policy rate will raise RAISE.

Warning: Króna must remain stable (180-185); Króna must not be appreciated NOW!
