This is a great idea. Lower obesity rates and more money for the government (should!) equal a better run country, better roads etc.

This is down right scary. And I live here in Denmark. They say that the people who eat fatty foods are an extra cost on the health care, which is universal. So everybody pays for the sick. It means that the government now can dictate and deny health care because of life style! This is Denmark, NOT Nazi Germany! Come on! God help us?

We’ve soaked the adults with taxes already, so who else can we tax? I know, let’s tax the children on their pocket money. But we can’t tax their income, so let’s tax their purchases – and we can even disguise it as a health tax! Cool. Now, what else can we tax?
