Icelandic president hurt in riding accident

olafur-ragnar-reutersOlafur Ragnar Grimsson, the President of Iceland, fell off a horse during a riding trek in Hunathing yesterday evening, breaking his left shoulder. He was taken to a hospital in Reykjavik by ambulance.

The President was riding out in a group including his wife, Dorrit Moussaieff when he fell. Unconfirmed reports say that the horse bucked him.

It is ten years since the President fell off a horse and broke the same shoulder, Visir.is reports.
