Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, the President of Iceland, fell off a horse during a riding trek in Hunathing yesterday evening, breaking his left shoulder. He was taken to a hospital in Reykjavik by ambulance.
The President was riding out in a group including his wife, Dorrit Moussaieff when he fell. Unconfirmed reports say that the horse bucked him.
It is ten years since the President fell off a horse and broke the same shoulder, Visir.is reports.

Thanks to the brave horse – we now know that the president of Iceland exists!
