Contrary to recent news, Icelandic Prime Minister in waiting, Johanna Sigurdardottir said today at the Althingi parliament building in Reykjavik that the new government will probably be revealed tomorrow.
Leader of the Left Green Movement, Steingrimur J. Sigfusson says that the coalition’s talks with the Progressive Party have not hit a brick wall by any means; although he does concede that there will be a lot of fine tuning to do to get the government working efficiently.
It has been three decades since Iceland was last ruled by a minority government, MBL.is reports.
Sigfusson added that the coalition partners had a very positive meeting with Progressive Party leaders this morning, who then discussed the issues in a private meeting with their parliamentary party members. Sigfusson does not foresee any major new obstacles in the creation of a government.
Although the coalition government will not include the Progressive Party, it will rely on it for support; and will therefore have to work closely with it in a mutually beneficial way, party sources say.

If you look at the list of people who really call the shots in the Progressive party you will see alot of Crockodiles, some rats and pigs and one fox, Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson the new head of the progressive party,
this Party will never support anything that goes against the people who have been robbing us,
and Sigmundur is just there to take the beating and all the shit thrown at the Party until elections, then he will be repalced by a heavily perfumed and dekorated pig that will be the Progressive partys trojan horse to get into the next government, they are not really a political party, they just turn tricks for favors,
You have little choice, there aren’t any good options in such a tiny country as Iceland. Everyone is related politically, socially, geneally. You can say this person stole and that person stole, but in Iceland everyone is the same and there will be a witch hunt in the coming days that will paralyze the government from functioning normally for the forseable future. If you think this left-green party has any good answers your all in for a rude awakening. Good luck Iceland, maybe the protesters can run your country now.

Im a protester and i can tell you that a chimp could run this country alot better than the Independence party ever could, this is just the beginning, we have rid ourselfs of a cancer that was killing us, now we will keep on fighting until we have changed the system and ruled out the dinosaurs for good, incl VG,
