Faroe Islands give green light to Iceland loan

torshavnThe Faroese parliament yesterday passed the proposed DKK 300 million (USD 56 million, EUR 40 million) loan to Iceland that was offered in principal at the end of October.

The bill’s first two readings went through parliament in the last few days, where it was decided it could go to its third reading without investigation by the parliamentary finance board. The third reading went ahead yesterday.

All parties in the Faroese home-rule government agreed to the loan in October, and according to MBL.is information, that support remains, as is seen by the bill’s easy progress. The loan is seen as a way for the Faroes to show solidarity with their independent Icelandic brethren, as the Faroe Islands are still a territory of Denmark as Iceland once was.

Faroese radio reported earlier in the week that 5.25 percent interest will be payable on the loan in the first year, but will not be paid off the capital in the first five years. After that time a contract will be negotiated on the terms of repayment.

THAT MEANS THAT FAROE ISLANDS ARE GIVING THIS MONEY TO ICELAND AS A PRESENT… MERRY XMAS ICELAND, WICH IS ANOTHER FULL IDEA. TAKE THE MONEY FROM THE HONEST FAROE ISLANDS WORKERS TO PUT IT IN THE HANDS OF THE ICELANDIC MAFIA.

THE FAROEYAN’S MONEY SHOULD GO DIRECTLY TO BAIL OUT THE THOUSANDS OF ICELANDERS THAT ARE IN NEED, NOT TO COVER THE BANKS SYSTEM’S HOLES.

    WHAT AN INMORALITY!!

FAROEYANS ARE GOING TO GET REALLY UNGRY WHEN THEY START TO REALIZE WHAT HAVE BEEN DONE WITH THE MONEY…
