2009 Internet Marketing show in Reykjavik

rimcPreparations are already underway for the annual Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference and Expo, and the organisers have already announced the date for the conference in 2009.

The next conference will be on the 20th March 2009, and there is already a growing line-up of speakers from Google, Yahoo, IBM, Dmoz, Receptional and many more. Guests will be able to choose from two tracks: ‘Business’ and ‘Hands-on Workshop’.
This event is organised by Arvakur and Nordic eMarketing – companies situated in Iceland, but both involved in international business mainly concerning internet marketing, search engine optimisation, Internet consulting and press.
More than 300 people attended the last conference and gave great reviews through the conference poll. Presentations from participants of this year’s conference in February are available at the website www.rimc.is/en for download, as well as links to blogs of the main speakers present.
The conference moderator is the director and founder of Nordic eMarketing, Kristjan Mar Hauksson.

    It is good to hear that this will still be running and Receptional looks forward to being part of the event again. Iceland now is probably one of the few countries where the UK pound is still worth having, so I am loooking forward to leaving a few pounds in the Iceland economy!

    Will I get to see the Northern lights this time?

    Freezing, yes it is. But that is the fun part, just bring some North Face or better yet buy some Icelandic 66 North and you will be fine!
