its ironic that they say its too expensive to capture and transport them back but their own petrol dependent civilization that imports all their consumer junk from all over to their crummy island is what caused it. you cant have your cake and eat it. next time you get an ipod, computer or piece of fruit, think about shooting yourself in the face in the process.

Polar bears are carryed from Greenland to Iceland on blocks of ice, when they reach land after a long swim they are tired, irritated and hungry,
they are survivers and hunters, so if you see a
polar bear it probably knows you are there,
i wish we could save them but i dont want to be the one to capture them, you cant outrun or outswim a polarbear, when they have been captured
they cannot be fed, if we feed them they cannot be returned to Greenland because they will be even more dangerous to the people who live there
so the rescue needs to happen very quickly,
they can be up to 700kg and 3m tall,
they are strong fast and smart, not easy to catch

Whine, Whine, sniff, sniff. But they is so pretty and so few of them left. I happen to like them. I just can’t imagine a world without them. sigh.
It’s not like they are aliens from outer space or anything. Of course if the polluters of the planet stop their polluting the Bears could stay where they are and not invade Iceland looking for refuge. I guess they like it there too. Less pollution. If you have a few of then hanging about it may attract tourists. Some people might pay big money to see one of them in person. Just a thought.
PS those specialist aren’t to special.

No, because that’s what they do with foreigners too.

Jokes, aside, Iceland as to get a clear environmental plan, they can’t start to build a dam, then after protect rocks while it’s ok to hunt whales for scientific purposes and then selling the meat to Japan.
I guess environmental policies come with the rest… Those last 15 years Icelanders and government where to busy running behind the money and not worried about consequences…
