Three airline passengers land behind bars

plane1Police in southwest Iceland arrested two men who had been causing trouble onboard an Icelandair flight which landed late on Monday evening from Manchester, UK, MBL.is reports.

Police officers deemed the two men, both in their 30s, who were heavily intoxicated, to be too much of a danger and a nuisance to be loose in the Keflavik airport terminal building.

The men were put in handcuffs in reaction to their resisting arrest.

The police took the men into holding cells at the airport, where they were allowed to sleep the alcohol off.

In a separate incident, late on Tuesday night a Delta plane on its way to Moscow from Atlanta had to land at Keflavik to unload a violent and drunk passenger who cabin crew had been forced to tie down to his seat.

Police took the Russian man from the plane and allowed him to sleep the alcohol off in a holding cell. The original article did not state what happened to the man next.
