On Oct 16th, 2009 my 5 yr old son came down with flu-like symptoms. It was confirmed it was H1N1 (nasal swab) and he was prescribed Tamiflu (liquid cherry flavor). I also gave him Elderberry liquid extract in his juice. He was feeling better the next morning! Then my other two children (age 7 & age 4) were hit with it but were not prescribed Tamiflu. I gave them the liquid Elderberry extract in their juice and Elderberry lozenges along with a lot of Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc. ALL THREE OF MY CHILDREN WERE FEELING BETTER IN 48 HOURS!!! I am SO grateful I knew about Elderberry and had the option to help reduce the viral load before it could do any harm to them.\o/ When the flu-like symptoms started for me a couple days ago, I immediately started taking everything I gave to them, as well as “VIRATTACK” from Herb-Pharm. I am feeling a lot better today though I’m not quite 100% back to normal. This morning my husband woke up coughing and feeling sick. He is now taking the Elderberry and Virattack and hopefully, he’ll be back on his feet soon! I could use some help with the kids now that they have their energy back! lol =)

The Sambucal product helped me, just walk into boots and ask for it, that is if you are in the UK. I saw this article http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/11/24/nflu124.xml in the Telegraph and it underlines how important it is to prepare. from the Telegraph article: “You could have a really severe epidemic. Thousands will be ill and many will die. The safe and effective anti-flu drugs could, if used correctly, avoid much of this distress.”
