Select SPRON assets sold off to Icelandic public

spron-littleThe Icelandic savings bank SPRON, which closed its doors last year, held an assets sale yesterday where the bank’s administrators sold off some of the firm’s physical assets to the public.

According to RUV, among the items on sale were tables, chairs, fridges and safes. Many of the best items were sold off at discount prices very early on, but deals were had all day as almost everything was for sale at the Kjalarnes bonanza: office chairs, drawers, cupboards, dishwashers and even crockery were up for grabs. Proceeds will be added to liquid assets to pay off creditors.
