Handball: Iceland beats Portugal

lafur-stefánssonThe Icelandic national men’s handball team will be happy with the result of the only friendly match before the European Championships start.

Iceland and Portugal played out a friendly handball match yesterday evening in Reykjavik which ended 37-27 in Iceland’s favour. The half-time score was 17-15.

According to mbl.is, this was the only international friendly match Iceland will play in before the European Championships start Tuesday next week in Austria.

    Man, Handball is so underrated. Doesn’t get anywhere near the expsure it deserves. It’s a damn competitive sport!
