The tallest man in the world, Sultan Kosen is in on a short visit to Iceland where he met with the press and public yesterday as part of the launch for the 2010 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.
Kosen, who is 2.46 metres tall, met with journalists yesterday at Hotel Loftleidir in Reykjavik.
The world’s tallest man arrived in Iceland on Thursday evening along with his brother and an interpreter – because he speaks no English (or Icelandic!).
His trip to Iceland was organised by Forlagid, the publishing house; and was supported by Smaralind shopping centre and Hagkaup supermarkets.
The public also had the chance to meet Sultan Kosen yesterday at Smaralind, where he “autographed” copies of the brand new Guinness Book with his fingerprints.
